Summary
ECC would like to inform you about the availability of a new “Global Admissible Securities” file.
The file contains a list of existing securities that are available in the C7 Clearing System. A new attribute “ECC_eligible” (Y/N) within the new file will enable Clearing Members to verify the eligibility of securities as collateral at ECC, which may differ from the eligibility at Eurex Clearing AG.
The new file is offered in addition to the existing “Admissible Securities” file at the Common Report Engine and under the following link:

The distribution of the existing “Admissible Securities” file will be decommissioned with C7 Release 12.0 (target date: 10 November 2025).
Outlook (Automated eligibility check for security collateral deposits):
ECC is working to enhance the current eligibility check for security collateral deposits in the C7 Clearing System to enable automated eligibility check at the time of deposit.
The automated deposit check is planned to be launched after C7 Release 11.1 (target-date: 19 May 2025, see ECC Clearing Circular 02/2025). Clearing Members will only have indirect impact by the activation as this will reduce manual actions to withdraw ineligible securities.
