Supervisory Boards of EEX and ECC extend Management Board mandates of Jens Rick and Goetz Dittrich

    The Supervisory Board of the European Energy Exchange AG (EEX) confirmed Jens Rick as a member of the Management Board in its meeting on 14th April and extended his mandate for another five years until 31st January 2027. Jens Rick has been active as Chief Information Officer of EEX since 1st February 2019. In this role he is responsible for the operation and development of EEX’s IT infrastructure.

    The CIO function created in 2019 will be exercised by Jens Rick also as a member of the Management Board of the European Commodity Clearing AG (ECC). The ECC Supervisory Board, which also met yesterday, confirmed the extension of his mandate for the period mentioned above.

    In addition, the ECC Supervisory Board confirmed Dr Götz Dittrich as a member of the Management Board of the clearing house. As Chief Operating Officer, Götz Dittrich has been responsible for the Business Operations at ECC since 1st January 2019, in particular he has overseen the areas of Clearing Operations, Physical Settlement, Member Admission and Information Security. Götz Dittrich's mandate was also extended for a further five years until 31st December 2026.
