    Scheduled maintenance of ECC's clearing system SMSS

    Scheduled maintenance of ECC's clearing system SMSS on 09 December 2025 from 19:00 CEST to approximately 23:30 CEST. During this time, SMSS, the ECC FTP server and the ECC Member Area will be unavailable. Please adjust the schedule of your processes for retrieving data and reports from our systems. 

    Attention

    Dear Customers, Currently ECC is facing technical issues regarding the Account Balance Forecast in the ECC Member Area. This may lead to temporarily incorrectly displayed account balances. In case of questions please reach out to ps@ecc.de
     

    Incorrect displayed EUA volumes on December Expiry

    The ECC Member Area currently shows incorrect values for the delivery day 17.12.2025. ECC is aware and working on a fix. In case you are unsure about the correct amount of certificates please contact ps@ecc.de.

    Information on Physical settlement for Polish spot products for delivery day 05.12.2025.

    Due to technical issues in the physical settlement process, ECC will correct the nomination at the Polish TSO for delivery day  05.12.2025 as soon as possible.

    Implementation of "DORA"

    Digital Operational Resilience Act ("DORA") carried out by ECC for Customer Agreements

    The Digital Operational Resilience Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2554, “DORA”) is an EU regulation from 17 January 2025, which aims to strengthen the resilience, reliability, and continuity of financial services across the European Union. DORA was designed to ensure that organisations can withstand, respond to, and recover from cyber incidents.

    On our dedictaed DORA page we provide responses on frequently asked questions (“FAQs”) with respect to the relationship between customers (in their role as Financial Entity) and ECC, as part of the EEX Group (in its role as ICT Third Party Service Provider, where applicable) aas well as support for those customers affected by the DORA regulation in order to become compliant.
