    DCP Model

    The DCP model allows trading participants on selected spot markets to become a direct member of ECC enabling them to participate in clearing and settlement services of the clearing house.

    ECC will carry out maintenance work on 21 April 2026 from 7.40pm to 9.40pm CEST. In the event of a rollback, maintenance may continue until 10.45pm CEST. Further maintenance is scheduled from 11.00pm on 28 April 2026 to 12.35am on 29 April 2026 CEST. In the event of a rollback, this may continue until 1.40am CEST.

    ECC is not possible to fully cover all necessary trade execution and nomination processes with backup funds. Therefore, we initiate a Market STOP / Trading Suspension in some markets. The nomination process at the ECC will also be stopped. We want you to monitor the nomination process with ECC more closely after the maintenance is over/when the nomination process is restarted. In case you notice any unusual behavior/malfunction in the processes with ECC, please contact us as soon as possible.

    ECC SMSS Member Section Maintenance Notice

    Scheduled maintenance of ECC's clearing system SMSS on 21 April 2026 from 7pm CEST to approximately 10pm CEST. During this time, the ECC FTP server and the ECC Member Area will be unavailable.

    Please adjust the schedule of your processes for retrieving data and reports from our systems.

    Implementation of "DORA"

    Digital Operational Resilience Act ("DORA") carried out by ECC for Customer Agreements

    The Digital Operational Resilience Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2554, “DORA”) is an EU regulation from 17 January 2025, which aims to strengthen the resilience, reliability, and continuity of financial services across the European Union. DORA was designed to ensure that organisations can withstand, respond to, and recover from cyber incidents.

    On our dedictaed DORA page we provide responses on frequently asked questions (“FAQs”) with respect to the relationship between customers (in their role as Financial Entity) and ECC, as part of the EEX Group (in its role as ICT Third Party Service Provider, where applicable) aas well as support for those customers affected by the DORA regulation in order to become compliant.
