Advanced Risk Protection (ARP) Email Service
Following the announcement at the Clearing Working Group in March 2026, ECC is changing the Advanced Risk Protection (ARP) Email Service.
Current Advanced Risk Protection (ARP) Email Service:
ECC sends out emails to CMs in case of a NCM suspension (ARP level 3 limit breach or triggered Stop button). Following the process of Emergency Member Stop1, subsequently an email is sent to the respective CM, once all affected ECC partner exchanges confirmed that the member suspension was executed.
Adjusted Advanced Risk Protection (ARP) Email Service:
In addition to the current Advanced Risk Protection (ARP) Email Service C7 ARP will automatically dispatch an email notification to CMs in case of level 1, level 2 and level 3 breaches. An email will be sent once a limit breach is identified by the C7 ARP system. The CM can define the threshold of the ARP limits individually.
- breach of the self-defined limit(-s) triggers the generation of an email
- where no ARP post-trade limit is defined, no email will be dispatched
- current limit utilisation mail service to be decommissioned, once the new feature goes live
The updated Advanced Risk Protection (ARP) Email Service is planned to go live 22 June 2026.
