ECC adjusts haircut parameter for EUA Emission Allowance as collateral
As result of a regular parameter recalibration, ECC adjusts the haircut parameter for EUA Emission Allowance as collateral as of 1 February 2026 as follows:
- Parameter: Haircut EUA Emission Allowance
- Current value: 0.35 (equivalent to 35%)
- New value 0.25 (equivalent to 25%)
The haircut parameter refers to the percentage discount applied to the market value of EUA Emission Allowances when used as collateral.
The corresponding parameter in ECC’s risk parameter file on the ECC website will be updated on 1 February 2026.
Clearing Members are reminded to check whether the collaterals deposited are set sufficiently to cover margin requirements.
