Summary
Today, European Commodity Clearing AG (ECC) has published a new release of the Clearing Conditions (Release 66a), containing several changes to its rulebook.
The new version of the Clearing Conditions is available under https://www.ecc.de/en/about-ecc/rules.
The amendments will take effect as of 14 August 2025.A summary of the material changes is provided below:
- Simplification of Individual Segregation (ISA) collateral provision;
- Implementation of EMIR 3.0;
- Adjustment in section 4.9.4 to align buy-in processes;
- Extensive adjustments to the regulations on EUAs in line with current legislation.
Additionally, the new release of the ECC Clearing Conditions contains a variety of minor changes and editorial amendments as well as editorial enhancements.
