ECC Clearing Circular 64/2026 | Changes in the South-East European Power Spot Intraday Continuous Markets (HUPX, BSP, SEEPEX)

    Summary

Under the ADEX cooperation, the Hungarian (HUPX), Slovenian (BSP SouthPool) and Serbian  (SEEPEX) Power Spot Intraday Continuous Markets will operate within a common M7 trading  environment. Market participants will continue to trade on the markets for which they are admitted,  while benefiting from a shared trading platform and streamlined operational processes. The launch  is planned for October 2026, with exact dates to be announced.

The change primarily impacts exchange-side connectivity and system access. For more information  please refer to the customer information Next steps towards the common ADEX Intraday Continuous  Market | ADEX. On ECC side, only limit management is affected. Admission processes, product  groups, physical and financial settlement, margining and reporting remain unchanged.

As part of the migration, existing market-specific trading limits will be replaced by a single ADEX  trading limit covering all participating markets, enhancing collateral and operational efficiency. Market  participants should coordinate with their clearing banks ahead of go-live to ensure appropriate trading limits are in place. Existing limits will not be transferred automatically.
