Summary
EEX will launch the new Trade at Index (TAI) functionality in its Natural Gas Spot Markets on 15 September 2026. For a detailed description of the TAI functionality , please refer to the Clearing Circular published on the 1 June, Launch of new Trade at Index functionality.
Access to the TAI functionality will be provided free of charge. Once a Clearing Member (CM) has agreed to the TAI trading functionality, all members admitted to natural gas products will automatically receive access. No additional membership fee will be c harged; only the applicable variable fees remain payable. Due to technical constraints, the TAI trading functionality will not be available to Direct Clearing Participants (DCP).
To support market participants in their preparations for the launch, we have outlined important changes to the ECC risk parameters and the SMSS trade reporting and payment reporting for ECC.
