Summary
Due to the impending discontinuation of the EEX Baltic Supramax 10TC (SPTM) contract, EEX will transfer all open positions to the Supramax 11TC (S11F) contract on 15 January 2027. On this date, any remaining open interest in the SPTM contract will transition to the S11F contract.
This open interest transfer will apply only to Futures contracts. The SPTM options curve has already been shortened to December 2026 with the last SPTM options expiring on 24 December 2026.
